The Onion | America's Finest News Source Yup, even the Onion has a lot to say about what happened on September 11th. While mostly tongue in cheek, it's really nailed a lot of the stuff down. It still boggles my mind the whole thing about Cantor. I just thought aboput this because on the Onion page there is a little banner ad. It's insane to think that they lost 700+ employees. The CEO is going crazy trying to rebuild the company so he can support the families of those who died. Insane.

Well, I went out and bought a DVD-ROM for my computer. The ATI card I've got now does hardware decoding so I can actually watch DVDs now on my computer! Well, there were two reason for this. First was I got pissed at how long it took Diablo 2 to load the CD in my old 6x. Second, I wanted a DVD-ROM player eventually anyways. Figure I may as well kill two birds, yada yada yada. I really should get a new case for my computer though. This one is definately going to overheat now. It's got something in every slot and drive bay. Yikes! Oh well. Maybe after Christmas. ;)

Lalalalalala. Well, now that I have this setup on my own site, I figure I should start writing in it a little more! Yeah. Right. Odds are I'll write for a while and then get bored of it. Much like everything else. ;) Anyhoo, Diablo 2 is calling my name so I should go play a little bit before I call the Cutie. hehehe. ;)

Wowzers! After spending over an hour trying to get all the pieces together, I finally have this blog setup here at ivany.org. Damn! It's sort of difficult to find all the bits and make sure everything is setup properly. It should all be good now, I hope!

Damn! My computer was overheating yesterday. Sort of a wierd thing considering this box has never had a heat problem in the past. I'm wondering if the new video card puts out just enough more heat that it is pushing it over the edge. Oh well, the case is open now and I've got my big fan pointed at it. Might also be due to the unseasonably hot weather we had this weekend. Blech. I hate heat.

Sweet. Well, I figured out why I wasn't able to put new stuff on ivany.org, seems I was putting it in the wrong directory. DOH! Some days I wonder about my brain. The plan at the moment is to move the blog to somewhere on ivany.org, but that won't be done until I figure out what I'm going to do with the entire site. Pretty bad. I've had the name registered for over a year and I'm just now getting around to working on it.

Woo-hoo! I'm back online after a very extended hiatus. HOLY I didn't realize how much I missed having high speed access at home. This is VERY sweet. So now I can start getting ivany.org off the ground. I've just got to figure out what to do with it. That's the hard part. I'm too lazy to complete anything outside of work. Terrible!
